COMMUNITY ANNOUNCEMENT:   The Winston-Salem Police Department is sponsoring a School Supply Giveaway on Friday, August 11th at the Quarry at Grant Park, 1790 Grant Road, W-S, NC 27107.  The supplies are limited and are distributed on a first come, first serve basis.  There will be one bag per child “in attendance”.  Please see front label table for a handout. 

MINISTRY ASSIGNMENT -Pastor Cynthia Dixon will be conducting a workshop for a prayer retreat on this coming Friday, 8/4 through Saturday, 8/5.  Please keep her in your prayers for this engagement.

COMMUNION SUNDAY

Our first communion Sunday will be on the 1st Sunday in August, the 6th.  From there, we will observe communion on every 1st Sunday of the month.

YOUTH CHOIR

We are proud to announce that our youth will sing for the 1st time on the 2nd Sunday in August, 13th.  There will be a brief rehearsal immediately after church.

THURSDAY BIBLE STUDY – Our current bible study series is “Life in the Spirit”.  The topic for Thursday, August 3rd will be a continuation from this past Thursday, “BEING LED BY THE SPIRIT”.   You are cordially invited to join us online every Thursday evening from 7pm-8pm.  The zoom info is as follows: Zoom ID# 354-019-4429 and Password #424628. 

MEN’S BOWLING NIGHT – Men you are cordially invited to a night of bowling on Friday, August 4th at 7:00pm at Countryside Lanes, 1005 Masten Dr, Kernersville, NC 27284.  This is a church sponsored event.  9:30am PRAYER  – Each Sunday morning, prayer will begin at 9:30am.  9:30am-9:45am will be a time of prayers individually. At 9:45am-9:55am, the designated prayer leader will pray over the service and any prayer request submitted by attendees. If you have a prayer request, complete our prayer card at the entrance table and submit to greeter.
